Interesting new App - CrimePush

I didn't say it wasn't in the AppStore. I say it is not fully functional for the end user. It clearly states this in descriptive text of the app.

This is not a replacement for 911 but more as a tool to assist law endorsement agencies.

It will allow you report an incident with audio, video or pictures thus documenting an event.  A simple call would capture the same. In some areas, you can be on hold with 911 and may never get to report an incident.

Also you may be able to report suspicious characters and events that may appear to be harmless, but may later be contrary.

People with an iPad or iPod Touch could report incident despite not having a phone service.

I think there is room for such an app.

Thanks,
