> Is there a downloadable PDF Reader available that is compatible with the IPAD2 operating system? Thanks for reading.
The iPad 1 and iPad 2 both read PDF files without adding any new apps.
The iPad includes a simple reader, with no storage ability, built
into the OS. You can read a PDF attached to an email. IBooks is a
free app downloadable from the App Store and you can sync PDFs via the
desktop to the iBooks app.
I use a great app called Goodreader that allows me to manage my PDFs,
highlight text, etc.
You can search for PDFs inside the app or if you are viewing a PDF in
the Safari app, you can add a 'g' to the http address to pull the
viewed PDF inside of the Goodreader app.
If you want a full featured PDF app instead of a simply viewing PDF, I
recommend Goodreader.
